Tim Wilkinson, professional golfer, was born on July 26, 1978 in New Zealand. He picked up the game by hitting a 6-iron around the playground at his school growing up. He first broke par at the age of 15. Wilkinson won the New Zealand Stroke Play Championship in 2000 and turned professional in 2003.

Wilkinson joined the Tour in 2005 and obtained his PGA TOUR card at qualifying school in 2007. Tim is currently on the Tour and the PGA TOUR of Australasia.

Tim says that as far as golf superstitions go, he usually goes with “whatever worked the day before.” His favorite course to play is St. Andrews.
